national wealth—the prod n e of the soil and the
pruductioos of the art and industry of the claim
try. It is further known that the naval prers of
Eurcpe have already extensively applied to their
fleets this poaerful auxiliary of steam. In view
of thee facts, the following set'-evident truths arc
