CURE OF .St CANCEROUS SORE.
Pisa Ststo, January 21.1841
Doctor Benjamin Beandrera—honored Sir: Owing to
you a dent of gratitude that money cannot pay. 1 mm
Induced to make a public ark nowiedgemhnt of the benefit
my wVe has derived from your invaluable pills. About
three years this winter she was taken with a pain in her
ankle, which soon became very much inflamed and
swollen, to much so that we became alarmed, and sent
for the doctor. During hisatlendance the pain and swell.
ing increared to an alarming degree, and in three weeks
Gam its first commencing it became a running sore.—
She' ouid get no rest at night the pain was so great.—
Our first Doctor attended her for six months, and she
received no benefit whatever, the pain growing worse,
and the sore larger all the while. He said If It was heal
eel up it would be her death, but he appeared to be at a
i 039 how t) proceed, and my poor wife still continued
to stiffer the most terrible tortures. We therefore sought
other aid In a Botanical doctor, who said when he first
saw It that he could soon cure the sore, and give her
ease at once. To our surprise he g..ve her no relief,
and acknowledged that it battled all his skill.
Thus we felt after having tried during tine whole year
the experience of two celebrated physicians in vain, In
absolute despair. My poor wife's constitution rapidly
tailing in the prime of her years from her continued
suffering. Under these circumstances we concluded that
we would try your Universal Veget tide Pills.iletermined
to fairly ten , their curative effects. To my wife's great
comfort the first few doses afforded great relief of the
pain. Wit aln one week, to the astonishment of OUT
selvet, and every one who knew of the case, the swelling
and the inflammation began to cease so ILat she felt quite
easy, and would sleep comfortably, and, sir, after six
weeks' use she was able to go through the house, and
again attend to the maringement of her family. which
she had riot done for nearly 14 months, In a little over
two mouths from the time she first commenced the use
of your invaluable Pills, her ankle was quite souncLand
her health better than it had hens in quite a number of
years before. I send you this statement after two years
test of the cure. considering it only an act of justice to
you and the public at large.
We are, with much gra Nude,
Very respectfully,
TIMOTHY 4- EL IZA A. LITTLE.
P. S. The Botanical Doctor pronounced the sore can•
cerous, and filially said no good could be done, unless the
whole of the flesh was cut off, and the bone scraped.—
Thank a kind Providence, this made us resort to your
pills, which saved us from al I further misery, and for
which we hope 1 he thankful. T. 4' E. 1..
