Sometime since a persin advertised
some stray cattle that had been taken up,
in one of our morning'cotemporaries, which
boasts largely of its circulation. After con
tinuing the advertisement for a number of
times, without hearing anything of the
owner, the advertiser, anxious to find him,
ordered the notice to be published in the
'Post.' The consequence was that the
very next day after the first insertion in
our paper,tbe owner of the cattle came for
them and gladly paid the charges to recover
his property.
