-BUSINESS!--Was dull. This, however, is no
.i..u.nusal occurrence for the last day of the week,
hesidesithe heavy sales of the i•rev ions day has
ocodpied the attention of dealers to such an ex
tent that there WAS little time for operations.
Our latest advises from Oil City report the mar
ket as being excited; holders demanding extrav
agant figures. The receipts were small, amount
ing to 814 bets. At the close of the market on
Saturday buyers were plenty and sellers few,
L feet so far as Crude was concerned, there was
so stock to operate with, some lots were sold for
future delivery. The sales were as follows :
. • CRUDE—SaIes 100 bids 31c, pkgs included;
1 300 doaight oil, 30c, bbls included.
REFINED—We did not learn of single sale.
Pekes were nominal.
