The hallowing story, the origin of which

he was standing. The poor boy, who
was pale, dirty and ragged, was leaning
against the fence, admiring the splendid
show of roses and tulips within. His
face reddened with anger at the rude lan

The Crop Prospect
The crop reports, frolli tlic sal inns

vorable to titan supply. In Central and
Southern Missouri the wheat will lie a
full crop, though a few months ago it
was thought to be winter killed. In
Michigan wheat. has improved so much
under the fine growing weather that it
looks tiny uer cent, better, and an aver
age crop is promised in one-half the.
State, in the other half the report is not
so good. Minnesota sends a good report
and a large erne is anticipated. In par.

equal to last year, but no more. In Illi
nois the wheat was never better in some
