Resolved, That all private withers and non
commissioned officers, now in the service of the
country, or who have been honorably discharged,

A. M. Brown, moved to amend by ad
ding, "and the widows and minor chil
dren of soldiers who have died in the
service, who are not worth over $1,500."

the resolution adopted.
Mr. Sutherland moved that Messrs.
Thos. M. Howe, Thomas Bakewell, F.
H. Brunet„Trlin H. Shoenberger and Al
exander Gordon, be a committee to cor
