THIS INSTITUTION, SITUATED
IN LORETTO, Cambria County, Pennsylva
nia, foul miles from Cresson Station, on the direct
route between Phi;adelphia and Pittsburgh, was
chartered in 1888, with priviliges to confer the
usual Collegiate Honors and Degrees. The loca
tion of the College is one of themost healthy in
Pennsylvania—this portion of the Allegheny
Mountains being proverbial for its pure water,
craning air, and picturesque scenery.
The Sohn:natio year commences on the FIRST
MONDAY after the lath of AllGllibl, and ends
about the 28th of JUNE following. It is divided
into two Seeeions. Students cannot return home
between the Seveione. All the Apparatus neces
sary for Land Surveying, Engineering, Au., Ac.,
