Tine NEw u k k mu —The
'workmanship of Lets engine, the arrival
of which we noticed yesterday, is very
lino and creditable to the company and the
manufacturers. The finish or the air cham

The engine is a vertical one, with an eight
inch steam cylinder, a iib•ur and three

The machinery is finished in the highest
style of art and presents a truly elegant
appearance. The air chamber is electro

lamp of stained glass, set in a fraltlo iJ

$2,250, of which $l.OOO was raised in the
second Ward, leaving the balance yet to
be collected. We understand that as yet
the Insurance companies have contributed
nothing to the purchase of the new engine.
