retto, and four miles from Cresson station, on the
PennsylVania Central Railroad—from which to Lo
retto, there is a weil constructed plank-Road.
The Springs are about 9,600 feet above tide-water,
aid the air is always bracing and invigorating,
the thermometer seldom ranging above 78° in
Summer. The head waters of the nsquehana and
Clearfield abound in trout,and the mountain ranges
are filled with game, affording fine sport to those
who are fond of such amusements.
The buildings are admirably constructed with re
spect to room and ventilation, and the whole fitted
up with every appliance that can contribute to the
comfort of the guests. The rooms are supplied
with running sprin&water, in marble basins, and
hot, and cold Baths onlisach floor. Bath Houses for
ladies and gentlemen. with i water supplied from
the lake, baying Swimzelaff-caMract and Shower-
Baths, Bowling -Alley, Billiard-Tables, Acc., Ja
The table will be supplied with all the delicacies
and luxuries that the market affords. The Bar
will be tooked with the best Wines. Guests may
rely upon getting the purest Wines and Liquors
that can be obtained.
The Proprietor hopes to give entire satisfaction to
hisguests, and no pains or expense will be spared
to meet their wishes and comforts.

The watersof these Springs have been analyzed
by several eminent Chemists, and found to contain
