Tirgokt—Thiik quality of seizing hold and causing the
expulsion of depraved humors, is possessed by no other
medicine than BRANDBETWS They operate
only Upon the tissues involved in, that is affected by the
disease. In fact they seize upon those humors, not so
much from preference as from natural affinity, because
their life is below that of the surrounding mats, and
which, rettling on the tissues of the throat, that is, around
the throatregiou, produces sore throat, sore throat pl.gue,
and the severe headache and fever. Within au hour
after four or six vine are taken, there is felt a peculiar
creeping in tii4 part sheeted, a sort of collecting up of
the diseased humors ready for nipulsion. No hurt or
weakening effect can over arise from their use, because
they cannot act upon healthy parts. Taken early they
prevent till organic diseases. Oh, how important in sick
ness, to use that medicine which only extinguishes the
disease; and laaves no evil effects behind.

Alar A MEDTCINE CHEST IN A BOTTLE.—
This remark is applicable to KENNEDY'S MEDICAL
DISCOVERY; for the stock of no medicine chest in the
world ever cured so many-individuals of such a variety
of diseases as has oar bottle of the Modieal Discovery.
The columns of our paper. if they were inereased three
fold, could not contain a quarter part of the names of
those who have been cured of scrofula, erysipelas, Salt
Rheum, and other humors equally painful and ag„grata.
ring. This is no exaggerated statement. as we have seen
certificates from persons who have been cured of all
these diseases, and we recommend the Discovery to the
afflicted everywhere.
