NO MURDER, AFTER ALL!
[co -N. i.trorni.
Much as this anecdote a mused me (as
did several other anent e ccentricities of the
monarch, which were then told to me by
the sons of men who lived in the last cen
tury), it did not clear up the mystery which
had taken su firm a hold of my imagina
tion. George the third could not, possibly,
be the man to whom the German and his
companionhad•
alluded ; nor the burden of
the story J. had just heard, "the deed"
which had been "done" in "the Star."
Presently the two gentlemen re-entered
the parlor, each holding in hie. hand a book.
They appeared a little disappointed at
finding the room occupied by three persons ;
nevertheless. they took their places trar the
mantelpiece, called for some whisky and
but water, and began to stneke their cigars
Very few minutes had elapsed before I
seized an opportunity M . engaging them in
conversation, and I ventured to ask the
tradesman of the town, if he would have
any objection to repeat the anecdote he had
just related Ile had none, and the two
gentlemen appeared to enjoy it Vast
ly.
Ile German gentleman, addressing me,
and seemingly pityin...t. me fur thinking the
house owed its fame to an anecdote con
nected with a king, said, —Du you know
that it was in this house, and most proba
bly in this room, that Shakespeare laid
most of the scenes in 'rite ilurry

characters often allude in the tum

THE CORA LITE AND PORCELAIN
TEETH have now te.cn extensively tested by the
citmem. of Pittsburgh. and the verdict in their favor Is
unanimous. Many have laid aside teeth mounted on
Gold plate to avail themselves of the tmprovemente
embraced m these new and beentifial Allem of Dentistry.
Their superiority consists mainly in their perfect adap
tation to the mouth—their perfect cleanliness, being
without crack or crevice for food to find lodgment, and
made of a material on which the juices of themouth
cannot ark they are free from all metallicCO
sion or tarnish and do not effect the breathl.acorro
sionch is a
great desideratum, as all who wear Gold, Silver, Plati
num or other Metallic Plate, can testify.
They al-n combine great strength with lightnoss, com
fort and elegance—this with their close resemblance to
natural teeth render them the most desirable substi
tutes for those organs ever uttered. An emu:Mullion
will fully confirm all that has been.said in their praise.
