ANCITILER GILEAT, CURE, OF. CONSLINECTION
B y S e liEN cies PULMONIC ASYR . IIP I .--The fol
lowing is one of the greatest triiinipbs of med

history. Read it:
Prompted; by no other .than the feeling of
benevolence and for the benefit of my afflicted
fellow-beings, desire to make linotvti a 'hurt
description of my , disease and time unexpected
cure T. obtained froin 'Schenck's Pulmenie
Syrup. About three years ago T was afflicted
with a violent cold, which settled on my breast
and side, and every few days I would raise con
siderable blood; my cough was very violent
and distressing. Everyday I had violent fe
ver, creeping-chills and profuse sweats at night,
with difficulty of breathing and great loss of
appetite; my system was entirely prostrated,
being confined to my bed most of the time.
Two of the most eminent physicians of this
city attended' me, 'and,'=after eximuSting all
their skill, pronounced my case incurable.
Indeed, one said that my lungs were almost
gone, and I could not possibly recover. At
this . s ta tt ,y o f my disease, I
was prevailed upon
to try Dr.•Scbenck's Pulmonie Syrup, and be
fore I had taken half a dozen bottles was
far recovered as to be abl to go alaiut the
house. It seemed to strengthen soy whOle
system—it, loosened the caugh and stopped the
lileeding—my bowels became regular, and
everything 1 ate seemed to digest easily and
to nourish my whole system.
Indeed, such was the rapid progress of my
health, and so sudden the change, that I
t4lll sanguine of a speedy cure, and aban

is now perfectly recovered. Another lady,
Mrs. M'Mullen, whose residence I will give on

was entirely !Towered, and now enjoys excel

so many to see me to know what I took, that
I have had a v6ry'ceonta titiiiotlttinify of know

been greatly benefltted thereby: and, I thin);,
if persons tifllieted with consumption or liver

let him carefully examine their lungii, and, if
he says he can cure them, follow the direc

Professor Gardener, a gentleman of Now

reason of his colhapind poWers, and his faculty
of interesting all who hear him talk, is in the

still he is known by reputation to nearly all,
and per, onally to many of our eiti7.ens. His
speciality is the vending of a superior article
of soap, which has gained him the sobriquet of
the “NeW England soap Man." He is a great
talker, always has something pleasant to say

many characteristic anecdotes are related of
him. Ile has two medals, a gold one, granted
