Section 1. and House of Representatives of tha Com- monwealth of Pennsylvania in General Assembly met, and it is hereby enacted by the authority of the same, That from and after the passage of this act it shall be unlawful for any person or persons to chase, hunt or run deer with dog or dogs in the county of Centre; and any person or persons who shall violate the provisions of this act, shall be subject to a fine of twenty doliars, one half to the use of the informer, and one-half to be paid to the treasurer of the school fund in the town- ship where said offence may be committed, to be recovered as debts of like amount are now by law recoverable: Provided, That the informer may be a witness, notwith- standing his right to a part of the penalty. Section 2. That it shall be lawful for any person to shoot or kill any dog or dogs which may be found running or chasing deer in violation of the provisions of this act, and the owner or owners of said dog or dogs shall not recover any damages therefor.
