TE Bsip Roap.—We understand $3000 have been subscribed te defray expenses for a survey of the much talk- ed-of Mifflin & Centre rail-road, and that a corps of engineers will soon be set to work for a rout. na | This road, if possible, should erter the eastern portion of our valley, and run westward through the same. This can be done by striking some point on Penns Creek, then following along that stream—such a route would benefit the greater portion of the valley. We think it would be advisable for the citizens of Hains, Penn, Gregg and Potter townships, to raise means, in order to secure the survey of such a route, and this they should do at once, so that whenever the corps of engineers get to work, the funds will be on hand for such a survey. 3 Oil utes rua Seymour Meeting.
