In the Northertr Literitie there was a division
xtnenc the Democrats, bat Mr. Wukenson the pres
ent ftjayor, was re-elected fcy a ifudwra* major*
ity.
The District Attorney, Reed, Wcig, is probably
elected, by some 300 or 400 majority.

The Legislature, so far as we hare returns, is as

The Whip Legislative ticket in tho Cdy, and the
Democratic Legislative ticket in the coumy, ore
elected by large majorities.
Marsahl of Poucc—The returns of the whole
county are yet iucompleto; but enough is known to
render certain the election of Mr. Key&cr by a
handsome majority.
City and Cocktt Omccns—The ticket known
as the city and county ticket is probably carried by
the Whigs. The returns, however, axe incom
plete.
