having a tie rnled my brother, who died of consumption
iu March, 1843,1 was taken sick with the Consumption
or Liver Complaint, and was reduced so tow with the
disease, that for four yean I was unable to attend to
my business, either at home or abroad, being for the
most ume confined ip my bed. During the above peri
od of ume, 1 had expended for medical attendance o
regular Physicians and medicines, to the amount of
•300, without receiving any benefit therefrom. In
July, 1845, I commenced taking Dr. Jayne’s Medi
cines, and have taken them more or less ever sinee,
■nd believe that it was by persevering to their use,
