REVIEW OF TUE PITTSBURGH MARKET, rot tot week sntwrxnn. 91. From several causes since our last weekly report, trade, in general, bos been rather dull, bat owing to the rise of the rivera, there is every prospect of its in crease. Upon the whole, the average amount of busi ness transacted, has been greater than coaid have been reasonably expected. The Importations of Flour have been light while those of Bulk Meat, Cotton, and Pig Metal have beeu aoniuaUy heavy. The Cincinnati and Louisville pack* eu have been foil of passengers, ax has been the case with D. Leech’s packet lino'of canal boats, and the sieanfers on the MonongabeU between Pittsburgh and Brownsville. The hotels 'have, cooaeqoently done a fair bosiness. Tl»e late derangement «' ihc cdrrency ha« senously ' Impeded btuuness in some departments, while upon other* it has had no effect. It is impossible at present » predict whither our local scnp msy ever ogam form a portion of our regular currency, bui certain it is that for tho«e who are able to bold it over, nothing can br safer, as every dollar of it must ultimately be paid.— In the meantime we trust that the measures which have been already adopted by the Cities and County in relation to this matter, will have a tendency to allay the agitation of the.public mind ASHES—We hare no change to report with regard to Sodn Ash.
