GOLD WASHERS.
H PARRY has invented ■ machine for washing
. Gold, for which he has made application for a
E stent. They are now offered for sole at the ware
on sc of Parry, Scott A Co, No lltt Wood street,
Pittsburgn
Adventurers to California are invited to call and ex
amine these labor-saving maebtnes. They are simple
in their i onsmictiou, easily transported on the back of
muies or horses, weighing eightv pounds each, and
can be put m operation in half an hour. They can be
filled with provisions. It is the opinion of those who
have seen the in&i of one of these machines of smallest
stie, that two men wtll wash the mineral from ISO
bushel* of sand or earth iu a day, without the loaa of a
particle of the mineral. They can >e increased in size
and worked- by water or mule power, if expedient.
The operators work without going Into the water or
being exposed to wet. and consequently without en
dangering their health. They will require but a small
stream ol water, and can be used the whole season,
and can be put into operation where there is not snffi
cient water to wash m the usual way
