among the factory operatives. a portion of them
having turned on: for their old wages. We are
glad, however, to leant that the mil out is confined
to only one mill, and we trust the good sense of the
remainder will prevent any further extension o
the trouble. Looking only to the interests of the
operatives—for they are the greatest sufferers fo
the end---we should regret any further difficulty
which would deprive them of the fruits of their
labor during the coming winter, as we are won.
