We Are 411 Woe Taylor.
BY ONE Or THY eIIOTS.
Towx--uOld Granite State"
We are coming, we are coming'
To the battle just begun,
We've a true and tried commander,
For 'tis Taylor leads on on;
He who fought so bravely for us,
On the eighth and ninth of May,
Amid the fearful carnage,
Oa the heights of Monterey.
We are all for Taylor,
We are all for Taylor,
We're for Fillmore and for Taylor,
For the honest and the true.
He who has never surrendered,
Though the foe stood four to one,
In the brave and gallatt Taylor,
Who'll nobly lead us on;
And the idea of nest November,
Will record another name,
In the highest niche of s tory,
On the bnghtest Der .11 o fame.
We are all for Taylorokc
Though our then may count by legions,
We will never shun the tray
But bravely march to battle,
And are sure to win the day,
For 'tie Rough and - Ready leads us,
Who has never known decent,
And his word is ever 'onwaan,'
For he knows not a retreat.
We non all for Taylor, &c.
Where the battle rages thicket,
Will our gallant chief be Mind,
And his cheering voice be nnging
To encourage all around;
Every danger nobly scorning,
He will nobly lead the van,
To a Buena Vista greeting
For the man of Michigan.
We are all for Taylor, &c
Tax BOLTERS—The Amherst Express thinks
those who, taking the gremad that the Whig party
is dissolved, have left its candidates to support Mr.
Van Barton,., now in a position similar to that
of the hero of one of Gough's temperance or anti.
temperance anecdotes:
He was riding with the driver on a stage coach '
neat Rochester; he had taken a "droproo:m och,"
and consequently was unable to retain his seat,
and fell overboard into the sand. The coach stop

colloquy ensued; "Well dnver, (hic) we've had
quite a tarn (bit) over, heint we?" -)To we hair
rot turned over at all." "I say (hie) we have."
"No you are mistaken, yon only (ell ea.' -I say

Them will be no more grumbling among 11,e

The question has been distinctly presented--Will

Nothing which may appear herentler--oul-ss

The weather at London and Liverpool continues
very bad, and the potato crop is suffering dread•
fully in consequence. No change in the markets.
13:EMEM
In Dublin and vicinity every thing in the shape
of excitement has disappeared. No further out.
breaks are anticipated. John Martin, the Editor
of the Irish Felon, has been found guilty, and sen
tenced to ten yearn' transportation. The potato
blight is spreading in every direction, and but fete
fields have escaped as influence.

The intelligence from France wears a gloon
and even threatening aspect—dread pervades wt claeses of the community, in consequence of the
tunny rumors afloat—of secret societies, and for
midable conspiredes to overthrow the present go
verninent. General Cavigeac, it is said, haa re
ceived warning of the meditated insurrection.—
lie is concentrating a large milder; force in and
about Paris, and it is believed that he has sufficient
strength to put down all opposition against the
Government.
The accounts from Italy represent the canse of
Italian nationality as almost hopeless. Charles Al•

Tan Conn Diatom allowed a llb of front two

if the bad weather continued, a still further ad•
vance was immediately anticipated. The Liver•
pool Gorton Market, at the -low of business on the
19th, showed no change.
