The market yesterday was generally very quiet,
and with one or two exceptions, prices are entire

light, and ss a conserinence, supplies must dwindle
The sales of yesterday show a decided improve
ment. A lot of 400 leas Goalhne's brand, was
mold on the wharf, at 4,181 c p bbl, and a lot of 119

ranging from 4,181 to 4,31 c is bbl.
Grits—The market is without change, and we
hear of nothing worthy of report. We may quote
nominally from store at the following raMs—

Gsuclams—The market continues steady, and
prices remain firm. 'We note regular sales to the
trade at yesterday's quotations
