of the Reformed Presbytery of Pittrburgh,held
in thefirst Church, Allegheny, on Wednesday,
the 2d loot., a call from the congregations of
Darlington and Parries, Beaver r anuty, Pa.,
was presented to Mr. Robert Whit, ~ bonsai
ate of the Philadelphia Presbytc., and by
him accepted. The ordination will take place
at the Darlington Church, near liewilalilee, on
the 3d Wednesday of January next, at ten
o'clock a. M. The Rev. John Douglas, D. D.,
is to preach the lemon, the Rev. Geo. Scott
to preside, propene the constitutional ques
tions and offer up the ordaining prayer, Rev.
J. F. Rill to charge the'pastor and Rev. John
McMillan the people.
DECK-11AAD Daolnrito.—A roan named Dan-
lel Helmick. on Wednesday morning, fell
from the dock of the steamer Telegraph, ly
ing at the Brownsville wharf, and was
drowned. Deceased had been employed as
a dock-hand on the steamer Gallatin, but had
been discharged' and paid off, and had gone
aboard the Telegraph to take passage to New
Geneva, where he resided. He was consid
erably intoxicated at the-time, which was no
doubt the cause of his falling overboard. His
body was recovered..

name of rheumatism and neuralgia, are very often
produced by Dyspepsia. Also, a hardness of the
muscles of the abdomen, which became contracted
