Infamous Outrage at Sharpebarg.
We learn that a gras* outrage was perpe
trated upon a German girl, residing &t Sharps
burg, a day or two since. She had been em
ployed as a servant, but tbq family not wish
ing to keep her any longer, she started in
company with a young man of her acqoaln
tanoe, who said he could get her a situation.
On the way, he was f jllowad by four others,
and while passing in an obscure place tho was
seized and abated in. tbe most brutal manner.
Her cries attracted attention, when tho vil-'
lams fled. It is said that but two of the five
were guilty of the violenoe, but If arrested
they will all be made to suffer alike. We have
the names of two of the wretches, but as no
arrests have been made we refrain from pub
lishing them. An information has been made
before Justice Graham, and warrants are out!
for the aooused.
