Additional specimens of valuable minerals

Hon. Fi F. Lowe has been appointed 001-;

HOKORABLY DIBCHABOID.
Col. Berdan, of the “Sharpshooters,” was'
recently brought before a eourt martial under
charges preferred by officers who were them-;

PnlJlleattentton here has again been called
to the-necessity of confiscating rebel property

The Mexican Minister did not receive hie

!we are yet without an authoritative contra

that the Freoeh war of conquest will yet be
turned into a war of defeat. . -
