changed, into universal joy. Our army, under

Fremont, who gevehim his plan of the battle.
Hooter assumed command, and Gen. Fremont
left for Bt. Louis, via Tipton, this morning. If
wa nave a fight before the army recovers from
ite last and crnel disappointment, jvt fear
greatly for the remit. But we hope for the
beet.
