The Reinforcement ot the. Rebels at 'lab

ton Sunday Chronicle, writing from Centreville,
On Saturday, mentions a brave private of the
Second Connecticut Regiment, who had been
captured by some rebels, and, on Friday, suc
ceeded in emitting to the camp at Centreville.
"He was, yesterday, put on picket ditty, and
succeeded in escaping. He threw off his coat,
and ran for life. On reachiag cur pickets, he
threerupboth hands, and clapped them re
peatedly
and rapidly above his head, to im- '
press the picket with a knowledge of his posi
tion. The picket received him, and" pearl
him to officers' quarters. He gives a very in
telligent account of himself and his experience:
