The new postal bill passed by Congress,
provides that srtieles of elotbing, manu
factured of wool, cotton, or linen, and
compressed within limits not exceeding
two pounds weight, addressed to any non
commissioned officer or private, may be
transmitted at eight cents, and above thai
weight according to tbe regulations pre
scribed by tbe Postmaster aeneral.
Tbe Rebel Governor of Virginia recom
mends tbe calling oat at once of all tbe
Militia for not more then 30 days at a
time. - There is something astir at Mobile,
but not enough has transpired to deter
mine the loyalty of tbe persons interested.
