As for the comforts of home, I scarcely
know what they are. The sudden change
from an active nut door life to the cofiliue-

with great success, a remedy in Krysipe
las, Dipthcria, and diseases of a similar
character. This is UitoMiNK a substance

and Chlorine. It is very volatile, and the
vapor seems to be of most value. A few
drops are left in an opcu-uioutbtd vial iu
the sick room, and iu a few moments its
pungent smell can he recognized through
out the chamber. This vapor seems to
neutralize the poisonous tl'.luna, aud thus
payout eoutagiou. It seems also, wheu
iuhaled, to modify the poison in the sys- i
tern upon which these depressing diseases
depend. Wo have tried it pretty thor
oughly in Iho large hn-pitals of this city,
and the; Surgeons aro ail persuaded -f its
