home in Scraoton, Sunday last, of con
sumption. Like John Schwartz of Heading,
he wore himself nut, almost, in his efforts for

Mr. Scraoton came fiom Connecticut,
about thirty years ago, a poor laboring
man, but died wealthy, having done more
than any other man for Northern l no
