A torchlight procession psraded through
Aiken, S. C, Nov. 13. A prominent fea
ture waa two stalwart negroes carry ing tbe
effigy of Abraham Lincoln on a rail. Oo
the right baud of tbe effigy, was bung a
card, with tbe inscription, "Abe Lincoln,
tbe first President of tbe Northern Confed
eracy." Tho cCgy was taken to a stand
and bung by negroes, after which it was
burned.
