died on Tuesday morning of diseases ]
incident to old age. He was 79 :
I years old.
He was educated in the public'
j schools of Newberry township and j
I attended the MUlersville State Nor- |
j mal School, and tuught school for
three consecutive years. In Noveni
, ber, 1882,* he was elected to the
j Legislature and again elected in
1901. He was actively engaged in
agricultural pursuits, and was a
member of Valley Grange, Patrons
