The car performs like a thoroughbred in crowded traffic, due to its quick pick-up, short wheelbase, short turning radius and simple control. A proper distribution of weight, coupled with a low center of gravity, results in the remarkable riding qualities. The accessory equipment Is com plete. FRANKLIN MAKES GOOD SHOWING ON LONG TRIP Local Men Cover 107 Miles in a Day to Washington and Return Driving a new Franklin tourjng car that had been run less than 100 miles, G. C. Kerr of the Franklin Sales and Service Company and Harry Cooper of the Capitol City Artificial Limb Company, made an excellent record last Wednesday, j when they covered 407 miles on a i trip through Haserstown into West Virginia, Virginia, Washington and return. C., anil | from there returned to Harrisburg |by the way of Baltimore. They ar | rived home at 1 a m. the next I morning after an elapsed time of j nineteen hours. This shows an av erage of nearly 22 miles an hour | for actual time. In gasoline con- I sumption, even though the car was brand new, an average of 21 miles per gallon was obtained.
