Fun And Frolic In The

Bowman Picnic

At The
Colonial Theater
Even though the thousands of friends of the
employes of this store could not participate in
the joyful events of the annual picnic of Bow
man's store of this city and the Imperial Depart
ment Store, of Carlisle, they will have the op
portunity of seeing the high spots of this annual
picnic day shown on the screens at the Colonial
Theater tomorrow.
Several hundred feet of film will show the
starting of the twenty trucks for the picnic
grounds, the judging of the cakes, the sports of
the day, shooting the chutes, eating the eats, the
winner of the cake prize and the many incidents
of the day that are as interesting as a local talent
theatrical wherein all the actors are personal
acquaintances. And, of course, the actors in this
one-day drama or two-store circus, will want to
see how well they acted when they did not know
the spot-light of the camera was on them.
