CUT THIS OUT
OI.D ENGLISH RECIPE FOR C'A
TARRH. CAT \lt It IIA I, DEAFNESS
AND HEAD NOISES
If you know of some one who is
troubled with Catarrhal Deafness,
head noises or ordinary catarrh, cut
J out this formula and hand it to them
and you may have been the means of
saving some poor sufferer perhaps
from total deafness. In England
scientists for a long time past have
recognized that catarih is a consti
tutional disease and necessarily re
quires constitutional treatment.
Sprays, inhalers and nose douches
are liable, to irritate the delicate air
passages and force the disease into
the middle ear which frequently means
total deafness, or else the disease
may be driven down the air passages
towards the lungs which is equally
as dangerous. The following for
mula which is used extensively in the
damp English climate is a constitu
tional treatment and should prove
especially efficacious to sufferers here
who live under more favorable clim
ate conditions.
Secure from your druggist 1 ounce
of Parmint (Double strength). Take
this home and add to it 'A pint of
hot water and a little granulated
sugar; stir until dissolved. Take orie
tablespoonful four times a dav. This
will often bring quick relief from
distressing head noises. Clogged
nostrils should open, breathing be
come easy and hearing improve as the
inflammation in the eustachian tubes
is reduced. Parmint used in this way
acts directly upon the blood ind'
mucous surfaces of the system and
has a tonic action that helps to ob
tain the desired results. The prep
aration is easy to make, costs little
and is pleasant to take. Every per
son who has catarrh or head noises
or js hard o/ hearing should give this
treatment a trial.

ANNOUNCEMENT
To be able to sell you the car that
will serve you best we have secured
the dealership for the Franklin Car
, ■
YY e have made a study of the automobile business, especially the
future of that business. From that study, only one conclusion is
possible. Every sign points to an increasing, insistent demand for the
really efficient, economical car. Naturally, we sought for the car that
would answer that description—we found it in
THE FRANKLIN CAR
America's Only Light-Weight Fine Gar *
and we are pleased to announce that we have secured the Franklin
franchise for this vicinity.
The position of the Franklin does not rest on our claims for it.
It has back of it a sixteen-year record of delivering satisfactory trans
portation, with the utmost comfort, safety, and reliability—at the
least expense. j
In addition to its splendid material, its real fineness , the Franklin
delivers owners a steady, day-by-day performance of
20 miles to the gallon of gasoline—instead of the usual 10.
10,000 miles to the set of tires—instead of the usual 5,000.
The reasons for this economy Light Weight, Flexibility,
Direct Air-Cooling—also explain Franklin comfort, safety of handling,
long life, and immunity from troubles in extremes of weather.
We wish to impress on you that these things are facts—not
claims; that they are subject to proof and demonstration, both of which
are yours for the asking—whenever you are ready to investigate a car
. that will guarantee you motoring sat faction , all the year around.
