The entire civilized world is now passing through extraordinary conditions.
Trained men and women are wanted everywhere—wanted for war, wanted in all the
essential branches of industry.
Every capable, sober, willing worker is now in demand—if you have capacity to do
your bit— don't be a slacker—turn your energy into production.

But just because work is easy to get—everywhere—it is turning
the heads of many and creating an inclination to jump from job to
job. This upsets conditions and eventually is most unprofitable and'
disappointing to the worker who heeds the call of the wonderlust.
In 1918—as in 1775—the watchword of the patriot is "STAND FAST!" Stick where
you are and concern yourself more about being busy—about perfecting yourself in
your work at the good pay that is yours to get.
