The complaint was made by Edward Haehnlen, 428 llummel street. Huehnlen said Fortney ran sacked his room and took the bond. Fortney accordingly was arrested, and the chief said his criminal rec ord alone would have convicted him. This morning Haehnlen appeared at police headquarters and said the bond was found. While dressing, his collar button Tell under the bureau. When he drew it out with,a yard stick, the chief said, the bond was drawn out along with it. fortney will be released, unless other alleged victims appear against him and make complaints.
