-yy ORKING MEN AND WOMEN are moving from job to job more
i= than ever before in the history of the- United States. While
some of this may be necessary for government purposes, much
of it is of doubtful good both to the workers themselves and
the welfare of the country.
It is particularly essential just now that labor conditions be not unduly disturbed. The
man or woman who is trained and proficient in any particular occupation should figure
carefully before leaving their present employment and jumping where an artificial situa
tion is offering wages that may seem for the time to be higher.

Unless the government requires your services in actual war work, it is better to con
sider if duty does not demand that you stick to your job, increase your efficiency, increase
production and get increased wages where yo are.

It is also just as much a duty to the employer that he meet changed conditions with a

fairness and liberality to his employees. Only through this co-operation and unity
of spirit can liberty triumph.
