Melvin is staying at ISHO Derry street with Mr. and Mrs. Ross Potts, and his war gar den is located in Twenty-third, near Derry street Dutch Ships Will Bring Sugar to United States Washington, Aug. 16.—Forty Dutch ships, • totaling approximately 100,000 tons, now idle in Dutch East Indian ports, are expected to Ire re leased to bring sugar, tin, quinine and other commodities to the United States. Tonnage placed at the disposal of the American government through the agreement will be sufficient, it was estimated yesterday, to Import from 50,000 to 100,000 tons of sugar and also much needed quantities of tin and quinine. Stock Exchange Gets Ready For Fourth Loan By Associated Press Xew York. Aug. 16. The Stock Exchange announced to-day that It had sold all its non-taxr.ble 3to per cent. Liberty Bonds in order to sub scribe to the next Libfrty Loan.
