Mr. Foust's letter quotes the coun sel for a big packing firm and makes sharp comment upon the assertions in the letter in his communication to Mr. Heney. No Executive Session—The Public Service Commission has designated to-morrow and Thursday for hear ing applications for approval of mu nicipal contracts and other matters,; but there will be no executive ses sion until August 19. Two Decisions—Chairman Harry A. Mackev, of the State Compensa tion Board has handed down opin ions providing for compensation in two cases in which new hearings were held. The compensation is a lowed in Eckert vs. Superior Coke Company, and Husail vs. Crucible Fuel Company. The board will meet late in the month to hand down de cisions.
