Bridging Material as Booty

tured by the French in following up
the German retreat from the Marne
included a large amount of bridging
material which the Germans had col
lected just to the north of the Marne.
It is pointed out that the intention
of the Germans to effect the passage
of the river in great strength and
drive in the direction of Paris thus
is indicated.
