Show Need of Expert
in City Water Department
Need of an expert to take charge
of the water department is brought
out in a special account in the En
gineering News-Record this week
explaining the water department sil
uation which existed here a few
weeks ago when all industrial plants
were compelled to close because of a
shortage. Failure to maintain the
high standard of efllcieny in the
water department when the Clark
act went into effect is partly the
cause of the conditions which de
veloped, it is said.
