One Dead, Three Injured
in Auto Used First Time
Altoona, Pa., Aug. 13.—An auto
mobile recently purchased by John
Decostey, of Gallitzin, which he was
trying out for the first time, over
turned on the State highway one
mile east of Prince Gallitzin Spring
yesterday afternoon, killing one man
and injuring the other.
Francis Wogonz, twenty-four years
old, of Gallitzin, was instantly killed,
his neck being caught under the
frame of the car. John Decostey,
eighteen years old; Frank Wash,
twenty-three years old, and Harris
Meintel, twenty-two yearn old, were
injured. Decostey and Wash were
brought to a local hospital.
