TRADING BREAKS 10 YEARS'RECORD 675,000 Shares Change Hands; Steel Supplies One-Third at 120 New York, Sept. 25. Trading In the flrst hour totalled 675,000 shares, a record for over ten years. Steel supplied fully one-third of the whole, coppers contributing an additional 25 per cent. All these issues made higher prices in the unceasing activity of the second ho\ir. Steel selling at 120, with ex tensions of 1 to 2 points in Smelting and Inspiration. Republic and Cru cible Steels, Colorado Fuel and Stude baker and Maxwell moved higher but rails and marines continued uncertain or heavy. Indian Marries Widow of His Two Older Brothers Carthage. Miss., Sept. 21.—Follow ing the injunction laid down in the law of Moses, the third brother of the family of a fast fading tribe of Choctaw Indians, In Lake county, has married the widow of his two older brothers. Several years ago the eldest broth er married and lived with his bride but a short time when he died. The second brother then married the wo man. After eighteen months he, too, passed away.
