tive issues. Kails suffered from the
usual neglect, except Reading, Nor
folk and Western and Rock Island,
which were In moderate demand.

FRENCH EXCHANGE DECLINING

change continued its decline in this
| market to-day, the Paris check falling
to 6.03. This duplicates the official
low quotation of 1915 and for many
years prior thereto, although some pri
vate sales of Francs were made last
August, at 6.05 and G.OU. On the basis
of to-day's rate it takes over six francs,
roughly valued at $1.20, to buy an
American dollar.
MURDERER MUST DIE
