STORM CURTAILS
MARKET TRADING
Coppers Continue lo Domi
nate; Speculative Issues
Are Heavy
By Associated Press
New York, Feb. 14. —Coppers con
tinued to dominate the market but the
trading was somewhat curtailed by
the storm which interrupted communi
cation with western points. New
England was reported to be active in
the further accumulation of coppers
which fully held their ground while
the balance of the list yielded substan
tially to moderate pressure. Declines
of a point or more in Canadian Pa
cific, New York Central, Reading and
Chesapeake and Ohio contributed to the
heaviness of the more speculative is
sues. Crucible Steel, Studebaker and
other shares in the war group followed
the unsteady course of Baldwin, and
United States Steel was distinctly re
actionary. Bonds were irregular.
