HOW TO GET RID OF
CHRONIC DANDRUFF
The only sure way to get perma
nently rid of either oily or dry dan
druff is to remove the conditions that
cause it and then keep the hair and!
scalp in a permanent, clean, healthy, |
vigorous state so dandruff will never j
return. This beats shampoos or head
washes which merely drive away dan
druff for a few days at most. H. C.
Kennedy and a number of other bet
ter druggists in this vicinity are now
strongly recommending a harmless,
inexpensive and quick acting prepar
ation called Parisian age that they
say is guaranteed to act directly on
the cause of dandruff and which al
ready has become known far and wide
as a safe and efficient treatment which
cannot poasibly injure hair or scalp.
Here is a test worth trying. Get a
package of Parisian Sage. Rub a little
of it. into the scalp with the linger tius
■ and see for yourself how the dandruff
disappears, the hair stops falling out, |
the itching vanishes, anda new and I
vigorously healthy appearance comes:
over the hair. Good looking hair Is I
half the battle in any man or woman's I
personal appearance and nothing hurts
the hair more than dandruff. Try a
(little Parisian Sage and begin at once
to be rid of it.—Advertisement.

JUST WHERE IS
SPRING TO DANCE
'
iFountain Will .Probably Be
Placed at Front and State
Streets
■
The "dance of eternal Spring" after
all, may not edify and uplift an eager,
watchfully waiting? public until next
Spring.
Of reasons, there are several. The
probable cold weather grouch of the
weather man is the first: the question
of a harmonious decision of all the
members of the newly created city art
commission is another: the view City
Council may take of the commis
sion's recommendations may be an
other.
The r>oinmission consisting of Park
Commissioner M. Harvey Taylor.
President E. S. Herman of the City
Planning Commission. M. I. Kast, of
the Southern Pennsylvania Chapter
ol' American Architects, Mrs. William
Henderson, of the Civic <!lub, and J.
Horace McFarland, Municipal League,
went, over all the talked of sites'yes
lerday afternoon with Guiseppe
Donato, the sculptof. And then it
was agreed that another meeting
would be held next Monday afternoon
in the park office to decide upon a
recommendation.
The fact that at least fifty feet of
space will be necessary to include the
fountain, the basins and the bal
ustraded enclosure which the sculptor
has in mind, eliminated all but. two
sites. These are the park at Front
and State street and the slopes of
Reservoir. Other points considered I
included the grass plot in State just,
off Second, Twenty-first and Market.)
streets, Harris Park, and the slopes
of the old entrance to Reservoir at
Walnut and Eighteenth. Mr. Donato
declined smilingly but firmly to say
what he considered the best point.
That the sculptor favors the River
Front, Park with the State Capitol in
impressive .background, as the more
desirable site, Is generally believed.
MUSCULAR BACKACHE
The muscles of the back do the
heavy work of the body. When they
are overworked or ill nourished thoy
ache and people who aro looking for
troubled begin to worry about their
kidneys.
Backache may be due to lumbago,
which i» rheumatism of the muscles
of the back, but more backaches are
caused by overstrain, overwork and
muscle starvation due to thin blood
than by anything else.
Dr. Williams' Pink Pills build up
the blood and sufferers from backache
would do well to try this treatment
before giving way to worry over a
fancied organic disease. Rest and the
tonic treatment with Dr. Williams'
Pink Pills will correct most forms of
backache, even rheumatic.
For people who work too hard ox
dance too much and sleep too little,
better habits and a course of treat
meat with Dr. Williams' Pink Pills
are all that are needed to drive away
the pains and aches that are warn
ings of a coming brfeakdown.
Two books, "Building Up the
Blood" and "Nervous Disorders" will
be sent free, If you are Interested, by
the Dr. Williams Medicine Co.,
Schenectady, N*. Y. Tou can get Dr.
Williams' Pink Pills at the nearest

Thin People Can
Increase Weight
Thin men and women who would like
t oinerease their weight with 10 or 15
pounds of healthy "stay there" fat
should try eating a little Sargol with
their ineals for a while and note. re
sultssulfs. Hcf is a good test wortli
trying. First weigh yourself and meas-
I ure yourself. Then take Sargol—one
tablet with every meal—for two weeks.
Then weigh and measure again. It isn't
a question of how you look or feel or
what your friends say and think. The
scales and the tape measure will toll
I their own story, and many thin men
and women believe ran easily add
from five to eiglt pounds in the first
fourteen days by following this simple
direction. And best of all, the new
flesh stays put.
Sargol does not of itself make faf,
but mixing with your food, it aims to
turn the fats, sugars and starches of
what you have eaten, into rich, ripe
fat producing nourishment for the tis
sues and blood—prepare it In an casilv
assimilated form wlilch the blood caii

waste and do it quickly and to make
th*- faf producing cotents of thr ver\'
