Freight movement over the Penn
sylvania Railroad for the first four
teen days of September as noted at
eight observation points, totalled
371,939 cars, Increase. 42,694 -cars.
The daily average movement was 26,-
567 cars, increase 3,042 cars, or 12.9
per cent. For the first week the daily
average increase was 11 per cent., and
In the second week, 15 per cent. The
figures were increased by the move
ment of company coal for storage.
