Butter Firm: western, creamery, AMUSEMENTS AMUSEMENTS A Sea Monster That Picks Up Food With Its Tail Elephants pick up food with their trunks, the ant-eater y»ith its long tongue, and monkeys cling to trees by their tails, hut the dreaded blue shark of the Atlantic is the only ani mal known that picks up Its food with its tail. The Williamson Brothers, while exploring on the bottom of the Bahama Seas to get their marvelous submarine motion pictures, which are being presented at the Colonial Thea ter for the remainder of the week, learned many of the habits of these "Tigers of the Sea." They secured several films devoted V to shark fishing, shark killing, and one showing two sharks lighting. This latter picture illustrates one phase of how this monster, which is from twelve to twenty feet long and weighs from four hundred to five hundred pounds, gets food into its mouth. In the film, one shark, hooked and low ered before the submerged photogra phic chamber, with a large piece of meat in its mouth, is attacked by an other which steals its dinner. It swings past a bit. of food that it wishes, directly over it, and flicks it up into the water with a blow from its tail. The mon ster then turns a quick somersault upon its back and comes up under its food before it has time to settle, and catches it with Its six rows of razor-like teeth.
