Court Decides How does an attorney know when he's "fired" by a client? That problem presented itself In June divorce court to-day during a little explanation between Attorney liobert Fox and Attorney James A. Stranahan as to whether or not Mr. Fox and District Attorney Stroup had been dismissed as counsel for the re spondent In the divorce action of John vs. Eva Kind. The question grew out of the filing of the notice of accept ance of service. "The respondent told us," explained Mr. Fox. "that she no longer had use for us." "But Fox and Stroup are recorded as attorneys In the case and their with drawal is not apparent," remonstrated Mr. Stranahan. "Why, your Honor, they've not been dismissed." "Well." smiled President Judge Kunkel, "what would you take the statement of a client to mean when he says he no longer has use for his attor ney? His dismissal?" Judge Kunkel and McCarrell divided a list of fifty-four hearings, one of the largest on the Dauphin county calen dar, in June divorce court to-day. EUGENE V. DEBS WIUj LECTURE ON THE WAR Eugene V.
