THE following Rules and Regula
tions of the Bureau of Health and Sani
tation were passed by the City Coun-
I ell and signed by His Honor, the Mayor,
and are published as required by the
i Act of Assembly, approved June 27,
1913;
j I. No milk or cream visibly contaml
l nated shall be exposed for sale.
11. No cream shall be exposed for
sale unless the specific gravity at 60
degrees Fahr., is below 1.020 and all
cream of higher quality shall be deem
ed taken and is hereby declared to be
adulterated within the meaning of
these regulations.
111. Special or baby milk must con
form to the standard of Certified Milk.
IV. Milk sold as pasteurized milk
must be marked or labeled pasteurized
milk and must conform with the stan
dards of pasteurized milk.
V. Double cream must be labeled
as such and must contain at least 36
per cent, butter fat.
VI. Milk bottles shall be used as
milk containers only and all dealers
sliall be required to use their own bot
tles. 0
I Any persons violating any of the .
I regulations of the Bureau of Health '
and Sanitation shall, upon conviction
before the Mayor or any Alderman of
the City (unless otherwise provided
for bv City Ordinance or Act of As
sembly) be subject to a fine not ex
ceeding one hundred dollars ($100), and
in default of payment of such fine shall
be imprisoned in the Dauphin County
Jail for a period not exceeding thirty
(30) days.

nent except Bethlehem Steel, which
soon rose six points to 154, one point
under its record price. Reading was
heavy. U. s. Steel was barely steady
while other prominent issues moved
variably. The list steadied later and
trading became dull.

Ore Movements Broken

for early iron ore movement from
Lower Lake ports to furnaces over the
Pittsburgh, Bessemer and Lake Erie
Railroad were broken this week when
an average of 1,000 cars was maintain
ed out of Conneaut harbor. All the
railroad's motive power is expected to
be in use within ten days and arrange
ments have been completed according
to railroad officials to secure a num
i ber of locomotives from the Chicago
I and Eastern Illinois Railroad.
